BEFORE YOU GET STARTED:

1. CHECK YOUR CREDIT: Protect yourself from any surprises during the qualification period. A 570 score is a good start.
2. PAPER WORK: Lenders request two current pay stubs, 2 years W-2’s, tax returns & past two months of bank statements.
3. DOWN PAYMENT: There are several down payment assistance programs but remember having a down payment will reduce your monthly payment.
